How it all started...

Having a recording studio, and recording their own songs was probably the last thing any of them had ever thought of. Well---maybe Kelly. The only thing they knew about recording was when the 'button' said 'record'---you pushed it. 

Phyllis thought she was getting too old to start something like this.

Kevin broke out in a sweat in front of a microphone. And besides, the only one who could play an instrument was Kelly.

And Kelly hadn't played his guitar or drums for 10 years. (Funny how a wife, 2 kids, and 5 dogs will do that to you.)

Besides, Phyllis and Jim, and Kevin lived in Montana, while Kelly and Tammy, and Fred lived in Nevada. How was this supposed to work?

So they prayed about it, friends encouraged them, and circumstances prompted them to do it.

They bought some equipment, put it in Kelly's garage, and he started spending midnight hours in his 'room'.

 (Why do you need so many cables and cords? --What's this button for?--I need a WHAT!?)

Kevin learned to sing into the mic, and learned to play guitar!!!

Phyllis remembered Sarah in the Bible....Maybe she wasn't so old after all.

Now they have "Rising Hope Studios"-----and one CD finished-- 'Hope Is On The Rise'.
